Guess! What is this?

This is one of the oldest Japanese sweets and well known throughout Japan.   Guess what is it made of?  And what is the name?

  1. The answer is YOKAN (read: yo-kahn) - a Japanese sweet made of red beans. It tastes very sweet and is a popular snack especially in the New Year celebration. You can make it at home. Check out Recipe on How To Make Yokan this weekend.
